Reception and Concert in Vilnius Mark the 34th Anniversary of Armenia’s Independence

On October 3, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Lithuania hosted a reception-concert at the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences to celebrate the 34th anniversary of Armenia’s independence.

The event gathered officials from the Lithuanian Seimas, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ambassadors, diplomats, public figures, and representatives of Armenian communities from the Baltic States.

Ambassador Ara Margarian and Remigijus Motuzas, Chairman of the Seimas Foreign Relations Committee, delivered welcoming remarks highlighting Armenia’s Peace Agenda, ongoing reforms, and strong Armenian-Lithuanian relations.

The evening featured a concert with performances by pianists Vardan Geodakyan and Arthur Grigoryan, soprano Milda Drejerytė, and duduk player Tigran Tumanyan with his ensemble, presenting works by Armenian composers and a tribute to M.K. Čiurlionis.
