The President accepts the credentials of the Ambassador of Armenia
Gitanas Nausėda, the President of the Republic of Lithuania, has accepted the credentials of Hovhannes Igityan, the Ambassador of Armenia.
At a meeting with Armenian Ambassador Hovhannes Igityan and Honorary Consul in Lithuania Karapet Babajan, the Head of State pointed out that Lithuania consistently supports Armenia’s sovereignty and the country’s democratic reforms.
The Head of State and the Ambassador discussed the development prospects for bilateral political, economic and cultural relations between Lithuania and Armenia. They also discussed Armenia’s security situation, relations with neighbouring countries and the war in Ukraine.
